What kinds of files can I fix?+
PDF, JPEG, PNG and WebP. Convert photos to PDF, JPG or PNG; combine PDFs and photos into a PDF; resize photos; or reduce the size of a PDF or photo. For DOCX, XLSX and PPTX, use our document tools. Legacy DOC/XLS/PPT, HEIC, GIF and password-protected PDFs are unsupported.
Will compression change my document?+
A file below the selected size limit is kept as-is. PDF compression makes each modified page an image. It can reduce sharpness and removes selectable text, links, form fields and digital signatures. Keep your original. Compressed images are saved as JPG with a white background. PNG conversion preserves transparency. File-size limits use decimal units: 1 MB is 1,000,000 bytes. We show the actual output size and tell you if the requested limit wasn’t met.
Where do my files go?+
They stay in your browser while you work. 1234File does not send file content to a server or save it in an account. Download your result before closing this tab. Your browser’s download settings determine where the result is saved.
What if my website still rejects the file?+
Check its exact requirements for format, size, dimensions and content. 1234File verifies file size and image dimensions, but can’t guarantee a third-party website will accept the result. Very large images, complex PDFs and documents over 40 pages may exceed this browser tool’s limits.
