Updated 22 October 2026. 1234File is a free beta. By using the tools you agree to these terms.
Keep your originals
Check each downloaded result before relying on it. Compression can change quality. PDF compression rasterizes modified pages and removes selectable text, links, form fields, and digital signatures. 1234File cannot guarantee that another website will accept a result.
Current limits
Up to 10 files, 25 MB each, and 80 MB in a batch. PDF processing is limited to 40 pages; image input to 40 million pixels. Resize output is limited to 6,000 pixels per side and 25 million pixels. A ZIP can contain up to 50 MB of results. Password-protected PDFs, Legacy DOC/XLS/PPT files, HEIC, and GIF are unsupported by the core tools. DOCX, XLSX and PPTX conversions are available through the separate document tools. Performance depends on your device. MB and KB use decimal units.
Document conversion
The separate document tools accept one file up to 10 MB, with a 60 MB expanded Office-package limit. Source PDFs and generated PDFs are limited to 40 pages. Office-to-PDF renders content on your device; fonts, pagination and advanced features can change. PDF-to-Office reconstructs editable content and supported images; it does not restore original formulas, animations, vector artwork or exact layout. Image-only scans and outlined text require OCR, which is not included in this release. These tools do not guarantee acceptance by another website. Review every output, especially tables and numbers.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided as available, with no uptime or response-time commitment during beta. Do not use it as your only copy of an important document. You must have the right to process files you select. Do not abuse the forms or attempt to access another person’s records. Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable law.
Plans and contact
All published file tools and beta extras are currently free. The Plus price is a proposal. Stripe checkout is restricted to owner sandbox testing and does not activate a live paid plan. Any live plan would have its price and cancellation terms disclosed before purchase. Send questions through support.
